Inside the painting.
Art does not always need to be a social commentary. For me, it is also a way to look closely at nature and at lives that exist beyond our human concerns.
I love the black panther. Its beauty is never loud. Only when you try to understand it do its patterns reveal themselves. It does not care whether you like it. It was never born to be tamed.
It hunts for survival and risks everything for its young. This world has never been made of pure goodness or perfection. That, to me, is part of life’s untamed beauty.
I paint the honesty I find in living things. A painting is something we care for in the hope that another generation will still be able to encounter that beauty.
